Catfish

In the days leading up to Andie's arrival, Hudson was growing rather impatient with waiting for her to get here and with my inability to work up the energy to get out and play with him as much as he'd like to. My parents decided to get him for a weekend of fishing and fun and it's just what he needed.

For a couple of days he had his Grammie and Papa's undivided attention.

He lucked out and caught a huge catfish in his Uncle Tommy's pond.
He wasn't too sure about a fish that size.

This Time Around

I truly enjoyed carrying Hudson and it was no different the second time around. Being pregnant with Anderson was such a joy and I really felt great for most of it. It was so fun to share the experience with Hudson. He was very interested in every little kick and was especially opinionated  about the things I ate.

I'm thankful that my sweet momma captured my bump just weeks before we welcomed our girl.

Room for Her

Getting Andie's room ready was such a fun process for me. I took my time and carefully selected every piece that went into her room.
It all started with four, vintage Quilted Northern prints that my mom had saved for me. Then I found the most adorable porcelain teapot lamp from a local antique shop and went from there to make a room that felt pretty and girly.
I will cherish the memory of picking out every little detail just for her. From vintage ceramic poodles that were her great great great grandmother's to the gorgeous custom made quilt my mom sewed for her, it came together perfectly.

Showered with Love

Snow Fun

Hudson absolutely loves snow days with "his" Jess. They are going to make the best hunting pals for years to come.

A Pawesome Party

We helped celebrate Wake's 3rd birthday at his Paw Patrol party! The birthday boy didn't feel well, but in true Wake style, he made the best of it and enjoyed opening his presents, eating "pup"cakes and entertaining all of his guests.

It was so much fun to watch Hudson, Wake and Dalton pal around and jump on the trampoline. Wake surprised them both with matching Paw Patrol t shirts. We love you, Wake!
