Baby Wake is 1

Wake's 1st Birthday Party

On January 27, 2012, our precious nephew, Wake, was born.  It is such a joy to watch him grow. Hudson instantly loved him and gladly took on the role of big cousin.  He would bring his favorite blanket when he cried, share all of his toys, and has coined the name, "Baby Wake." Although Baby Wake isn't much of a baby anymore, I think it's safe to say that it will be a while before he outgrows the name, especially to Hudson.

Wake's Toy Story party was adorable.  For those of you that know my sister, this is no surprise (she's sooo talented). Wake had so many of his friends and family there to celebrate and we had so much fun!

Little Red Pajamas

Christmas Day 2012

Christmas morning was very exciting for Hudson.  This was the first year that he really started to enjoy opening presents and playing with all of his wonderful new toys. It was definitely a Thomas the train themed Christmas; Thomas trains, tracks, pajamas, movies, whistle, socks, blanket, and yes, even Thomas the train wrapping paper! There were two toys that stood out above all the rest...his Thomas the train remote control train (complete with steaming capabilities) and his shiny new red Schwinn tricycle!
As a parent there is nothing greater than seeing your child in their precious Christmas pajamas with a twinkle in their eye and happiness and appreciation in their heart.

Tractors, trains & so many things..

Christmas 2012

This Christmas was filled with family, fun, food, tractors, trains, and so many wonderful things!  We spent the weekend before Christmas in Tulsa at my sister, brother-in-law and Wake's house.
Hudson and Wake had so much fun.  This was Wake's first Christmas and Hudson was eager to show him the ropes.
