Of Mice and Kin

I love the fall season, October, and of course...Halloween.  I've never been one for the scary or gory side of halloween, just the fun, creative costumes, decorations and of course...the CANDY!
Keeping with the fun and creative side of things I decided to make Hudson's costume this year.  His love for Mickey Mouse inspired me yet again and I spent the whole month of October prepping him for his Mickey Mouse transformation.
On October 30th the city of Stillwater threw it's downtown halloween festival.  This was our first year to attend so naturally, we invited  my parents and my sister, brother-in-law and adorable nephew to join in on the fun.  We kicked the evening off with delicious tacos from Fuzzy's Taco Shop (my favorite new joint in Stillwater) and then we headed to the streets of downtown for what we hoped would be a night of family, fun and yummy treats.  We were a little disappointed in the festival (to say the least) but the pictures made it all worth it!

Precious Mickey Mouse.

Trick-or-Treating with his Papa.

My adorable nephew, Wake, in his monster costume.  And yes, my sister made this...so talented!
