A Pawesome Party

We helped celebrate Wake's 3rd birthday at his Paw Patrol party! The birthday boy didn't feel well, but in true Wake style, he made the best of it and enjoyed opening his presents, eating "pup"cakes and entertaining all of his guests. 

It was so much fun to watch Hudson, Wake and Dalton pal around and jump on the trampoline. Wake surprised them both with matching Paw Patrol t shirts. We love you, Wake! 

A Merry Little Christmas

On November 15, 2014, we revealed that we would be having a little CowGIRL! With our second child we really wanted to wait to find out the gender until delivery, but after weeks of people speculating what baby #2 might be, I caved and now I'm so glad we did.

I don't think Kyle and I ever expected to be parents to a little girl, but we were SO excited. Hudson got to come with us to the ultrasound and was just as shocked as we were to find out he would have a little sister.

It didn't take long for the tiny little girl clothes and accessories to start accumulating...but, girls are supposed to be spoiled, right?!

I can't wait for her first fall football experience.

Give Thanks

The holidays were particularly meaningful this year just because we knew it'd be the last Thanksgiving as a family of 3.  We got to spend wonderful quality time with all of our family, but especially our Hudson. 
We are so thankful for him and the joy he brings into our lives. 

One Chilly Morning

On a cold morning in November Hudson and I got bundled up to support a special friend. We met at Boomer Lake for the 2014 Walk for Children with Apraxia of Speech.  It was chilly, but it was worth it. I hope Hudson will always remember how important it is to support others  and show them you care.

Pill bug

This Halloween Hudson presented me with quite the challenge: he wanted to be a Roly Poly. A giant replica of the bug that would even roll up when he rolled up. I accepted the challenge and stressed for weeks about how I was actually going to make it happen. The good news is that after trial and error, I achieved our goal and he ended up very happy with the result.

He was definitely the cutest Roly Poly we had ever seen! We spent Halloween night trick-or-treating at the OSU Foundation and eating pizza. 

A Roly Poly Party

On October 21, 2014 our sweet Hudson turned 4! It's really hard to believe we have a four-year-old. In true Hudson fashion he of course had a challenging party theme for me this year, a Roly Poly party. 

We had about 20 of our closest family and friends that came to celebrate and of course no Roly Poly party would be complete without Roly Poly habitat dirt cakes.  Hudson, you are so imaginative, funny, smart and absolutely sweet. We are so blessed to have you!
